At 68, Big B wants to ride this beauty!

After riding what he calls the "beast bike" for "Bbuddah - Hoga Tera Baap", megastar Amitabh Bachchan is eager to buy his own Harley Davidson.

"What is it with men and the sound of a mean machine. The roar of a speed car, the rush of air and sound in a double exhaust bike, that kick of acceleration as you push the pedal flat, that jerk of change on the Concord, when it was functional, as it went from normal to Mach 3 at 55,000 feet in the air! Is it the same with the ladies too?" Amitabh wrote on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

"Soon after it was the adrenalin pumping beast bike, the Harley 'twixt my legs. And what a monster it is. I have to say though that having done it, and for the first time, it is an experience that now coerces me to have one of my own.

OOOOO! Baby!! It is another world as you stride all the leather and studs and white metal that surrounds you. Quite something!" he further wrote.

Meanwhile, age seems to be taking its toll on the 68-year-old.

"Running at 70 is a bit of a bother! You feel you can move with some fluidity, but no! The legs do not respond to what the mind is telling it to do and you suddenly realize that the weight of your body is not that lithe anymore," he wrote.

"So as I sit down on my 'blogespherechair' to fill in my adventures, I am cushioned with hot water bags and electronic heating devices to ease out the numerous folds of muscles, that had remained dormant and in retirement for a very long time," he added.

Priyanka openly bonding with dushman Bebo's boyfriend Saif

Priyanka Chopra drops in on the set of 'Agent Vinod' to meet Saif

Priyanka Chopra is openly bonding with dushman Kareena Kapoor's boyfriend Saif Ali Khan and his business partner Dinesh Vijan. Bebo is obviously seeing red.

Says a source, "Saif has been shooting for his home production Agent Vinod all this week during the day at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon while Priyanka has been shooting nights for Karan Johar's Agneepath in Versova."

Why so curious?

Now, stars drop in to meet other stars they are friends with, when shooting in the same studio or in the vicinity. Interestingly, Priyanka and Saif, though socially cordial, are not friendly.

"And yet, PC, who was shooting for an ad film in the afternoon at Filmistan asked Dinesh to show her the Agent Vinod set, after her shoot was done.

She went around, met everyone from Saif to the director Shriram Raghavan, chatted with them for half an hour and then left for her Agneepath shoot in Versova, " says the source.

When Kareena heard this, she was furious. Says another source, "PC is curious about all things Bebo and keeps tabs by checking with common friends."

As it turns out, one of the reasons the Kaminey couple Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka parted ways was because the latter felt that her guy wasn't as emotionally invested in the relationship as he was with Bebo.

Getting even

That said, getting friendly with Saif could be PC's way of getting even with the Golmaal 3 gal. What she doesn't realise is that the two are deeply committed to each other and have eyes only for each other.

Naturally, people close to Kareena scoff at rumours suggesting she is upset with Piggy Chops for trying to bond with Saif.

According to them Kareena is merely amused at PC's attempts and ignores such things as she and Saif are confident in their love for each other.

Kareena and Priyanka remained unavailable for comment.

Katrina-Salman go on a lunch date

The exes met professionally and were cordial to each other

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif met yesterday for the photo shoot of Kabir Khan's next, a Yash Raj film, followed by lunch at Salman's place.

An insider reveals, "The photo shoot happened in the compound of Khan's home Galaxy Apartments. After the wrap-up, he invited Kat to join him for lunch at his place.

The actress is very close to Sallu's family and has been a regular at his place. She immediately agreed. There was no discomfort or awkwardness between them."

The couple split a year ago and was last seen at an award function in February.

Sources close to Katrina take pains to point out that the meeting was "purely professional" and that Sallu and she are "not getting back together". Okay, then!

UPDATE

"Kabir Khan's film is tentatively titled Ek Tha Tiger, contrary to the rumoured title Sher Khan," reveals the source.

Salman Action In Rikshaw..

News is that for his next film, READY produced by T-Series and Rajat Rawail, Salman Khan recently shot some high-voltage action sequences driving a Tuk Tuk in the narrow streets of Pattaya, Thailand.
Salman, known for adding that extra ‘zing’ to his films, came up with the idea of shooting an action sequence in Thailand’s famous Tuk Tuks as this was never done before in a Hindi film. Subsequently, an action scene was written and shot, showing two Tuk Tuks blowing up and the actor jumping into another one and driving off.
Obviously, the producers had to buy off 3 Tuk Tuks especially for this scene since the vehicles would face considerable damage in the course of the shoot. But Bhushan Kumar & Rajat Rawail happily did so as they wish to leave no stone unturned in creating bigger and better action scenes for READY after the success of WANTED and DABANGG.
Bhushan Kumar confirms, ‘It was Bhai’s idea to shoot with Tuk-Tuks which are very fast and powerful. He wanted to shoot an action sequence nobody has done before. People have shot romantic songs or scenes perhaps but such a high-voltage action sequence will be seen for the first time in READY. People will enjoy this unique Thai action.’
An insider adds, ‘Salman drove the Tuk Tuk expertly, although it was his first time doing so!’
READY is slated for release on 3rd June.

Salman War With Arbaaz..?

Going against Salman’s wishes is not an idea worth pursuing. The same lessons are being learnt by none other than Salman Khan’s younger brother Arbaaz Khan. According to sources, Salman is miffed with Arbaaz for trying to broker peace between him and SRK. The issue has reached a point where Sallu has told Arbaaz in no uncertain terms to avoid playing such a role.
In the past Arbaaz has been friendly with SRK despite the fact that SRK and Sallu’s chemistry is going through its coldest phase. But, now Salman is keeping a close watch on any attempts that might end his arch rivalry. He is no mood to let go so soon.
Our sources further add, “The fact that Salman does not forgive his enemies has become one of his brand features. It is very difficult for him to go against the same since it is something that defines him. His fresh diktat to Arbaaz has to be seen in that light. Look at what he did to Vivek Oberoi. He is trying to repeat it in case of his cold bond with SRK.”
While Bollywood and its brawls would not stop from taking place, but this one is the baap of all as it involves two biggest stars who happen to be arch rivals.

Rahat Ali Arrested in India..

Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was recently detained at the Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi. The reason behind his detention was that the singer, who was stopped by officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence at terminal 3, had approximately 1.24 lack US dollars that was undisclosed in addition to Indian and Pakistani currency.
Rahat was detained at the airport around 3.45 pm, till the time of filing of the report, he was with DRI officials. Around 11 pm, DRI was going to begin questioning Khan and his entourage of 14 persons. Khan was to board an Emirates flight to Karachi via Dubai scheduled to take off around 4 pm, when the currency was found in his baggage. Khan was here to perform at an Indo-Pakistan peace initiative.
However, the latest update is that Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik has stepped in personally to look into the singer's detention over undeclared foreign currency. Malik even called up the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi and spoke with the envoy, Shahid Malik.
The minister has since asked for details about Rahat's detention at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, in addition to Pakistani High Commissioner to monitor the matter closely.
Note that, Khan has several hit numbers to his credit and had won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer this year for 'Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji' from the movie 'Ishqiya'.

Katrina Kaif in Dhoom 3..?

The big question since then has been, who will be signed as the lead actress opposite Aamir Khan. Though a number of names were being tossed around by the media, that Katrina Kaif will be playing the female lead in Dhoom: 3.
Katrina, who is currently doing YRF's Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, has beaten the other contenders to clinch the role.
Though the rest of the cast, namely Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra remains unchanged, Aamir and Katrina's addition to the cast certainly heats things up. Considering the chemistry between Aamir and Katrina, the duo has put all questions to rest, with their photographic rendition of the classic film Pyaasa that garnered positive response from fans and industry folk alike.
Different sources says that Aamir won't be charging his usual fee for D: 3. Instead, he will have a stake in the profits of the film. To be precise Aamir will have a total of 33% stake in the profits of the film. This will be the first time that YRF has permitted such sharing. However, though this may be a first for the production house, Aamir has cut down his share from the usual 40% that he had for the film 3 Idiots.
When we contacted, Rafiq Gangjee from YRF replied, "The casting for the girls of Dhoom: 3 has not started. Also, YRF does not discuss artist contracts and agreements."
While Aamir's publicist said, "The 33% profit sharing ratio is not true, besides we do not have any profit sharing ratio with YRF as such. While on the remuneration i will not comment."
While Yash Raj Films refrains to comment on this, we can safely bet that with Katrina being signed on for Dhoom: 3, and Aamir adding another shade to the film with his talent, the high octane torque film promises to be more than just fast bikes.
