Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was recently detained at the Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi. The reason behind his detention was that the singer, who was stopped by officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence at terminal 3, had approximately 1.24 lack US dollars that was undisclosed in addition to Indian and Pakistani currency.
Rahat was detained at the airport around 3.45 pm, till the time of filing of the report, he was with DRI officials.
